Our entire collection is searchable through the Four County Library System's on-line catalog. Enter the search term and click search. On the left side of the page is a list of libraries who own the item, scroll down and you may find Gilbertsville has the title. Stop in and "check it out". If we do not have the item, you may place a hold on it using your library card and PIN. We will call you when the item is ready to be picked up. Need help, just stop in!

    Printing/Copying/Fax/Scanning

    One printer is available for printing and copying.

    The HP printer creates in color or black and white.

    If you have a fax you need to send but no fax machine come in and use ours.

    Scan documents to a computer to attach to your email or scan directly to your flash drive.

    Fees:

    • Black and white prints/copies: 20 cents each
    • Color prints/copies: 25 cents each
    • Full page color photos: 50 cents each
    • Faxes: 1 dollar each

    Public Access Computers

    We currently offer a Windows computer for public use:

    • Read your web email (gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc..)
    • Create documents, spreadsheets, or presentations with MS Office
    • View, edit, or print pictures
      • HP LaserJet x476 Color printer prints brilliant color photos
      • Photo paper available for a fee or bring your own
    • Scan documents or photos

    If you need to save your work please be sure to bring your own memory stick.

    Free wireless internet is available 24/7.

    Bring your own laptop or device and connect to the "library public wi-fi". Wi-fi is available for your convenience when the library is not open.

    4CLS provides access to a collection of high-quality, accurate, electronic resources: business, finance, current events, magazines, newspapers, children's periodicals, encyclopedias, almanacs, genealogy,health and wellness, job help, literature, Spanish language resources, and teachers' resources. These resources are available at no cost to registered users of our library.

    Download Zone

    Download audiobooks and eBooks at home to your iPod, smartphone, other compatible device, or computer with the Download Zone 24/7 digital library. To download titles, you will need a library card and PIN from the library. At the end of the loan period, titles will expire and be automatically returned to the library. You will never have an overdue in the Download Zone. If the book is not available, you may place a hold and the system will email you when it is ready for your download.
